The Cattail Nature Skills Gathering is a chance to learn about wilderness skills such as friction fire, wildlife tracking, flint knapping, wild edible and useful plants, woodworking, herbalism, campcraft, nature awareness, as well as self-sufficiency and homesteading.  Over the course of the weekend talented instructors will lead workshops, music and stories will be enjoyed beside the fire and a chance for a deeper connection to Nature and community will be abundant.

Having been heavily involved with the Maine Primitive Gathering and the New England Primitive Skills Gathering for many years, the organizer of Cattail created this gathering to continue the tradition of creating community around a mutual love of living and learning close to Nature.

Bring your family, camp out, spend time by the fire, make lifelong friends, learn a ton and feel at home.  We can’t wait to see you and learn from you!
